Welcome to Paws of Brevard! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By accessing our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our services.

1. Definitions

In these terms and conditions:

  • “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Paws of Brevard.
  • “Client”, “You”, “Your” refers to the person using our services.
  • “Services” refers to the pet care services provided by Paws of Brevard, including drop-in visits, walks, medication dispensing, and overnight care.
  • “Pet” refers to the animal(s) under our care.

2. Service Agreement

All services provided by Paws of Brevard are subject to a service agreement. This agreement will outline the specific services to be provided, the schedule, the fees, and any special instructions regarding the care of your pet. The service agreement must be signed and agreed upon by both the client and Paws of Brevard before services commence.

3. Booking and Cancellation

  1. Bookings for services should be made in advance to ensure availability. We recommend booking at least 48 hours prior to the required service date.
  2. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the service cost.
  3. Overnight care cancellations require 72 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service cost.

4. Payment

  1. Payment for services is due upon completion of the service or as otherwise agreed in the service agreement.
  2. We accept payments via cash, check, and electronic transfer.
  3. A late fee of 5% will be applied to any payment not received within 7 days of the due date.

5. Pet Health and Safety

  1. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your pet’s health and behavior. This includes any medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral issues.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe that providing care for your pet would pose a risk to the pet, our staff, or the public.
  3. In the event of a medical emergency, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If we are unable to reach you, we will take your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic for treatment. You are responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred.
  4. We are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or health issues that may arise during our care.

6. Liability

  1. While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to your pet or property, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.
  2. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
  3. You agree to indemnify and hold Paws of Brevard harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of our services or your pet’s behavior.

7. Access to Property

You must provide us with a safe and secure way to access your property for the purpose of providing services. This may include providing a key, access code, or other means of entry. You are responsible for ensuring that the access method is reliable and secure.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy and will only use your personal information for the purpose of providing services. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions periodically for any updates or changes.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brevard County, Florida.
